To meet our goal of ending substandard housing, Habitat for Humanity Orlando depends on the energy and time of volunteers on our committees, at our ReStore, during events, and for home construction. We welcome volunteers of all skill levels and interests into our Habitat family. The most powerful contributions come from the volunteers who want to make a difference in the community. We have volunteer opportunities of all kinds and make it easy for individuals and groups to get involved.
Volunteers are required to sign a liability waiver. The waivers must be updated annually. We have the waiver on our website for download and also at the job site.
We need volunteers at the Habitat ReStore! Volunteers are needed to help: sort incoming donations, purge excess stock, test electronic equipment, assist with customer service, move and organize pallets of new donations, assist with store clean up, construct storage units, and run the cash register. All ReStore volunteers must be 18 years old or older.
We will be working at our construction site this Thursday from 8:30 am-2:00 pm.
